This is the full documentary film about Walmart’s business practices. Skip to the 1 hour mark in the film, you can learn more about Walmart’s imports from China and sweatshop-like factories.

In China, factory workers can live in dorms owned by Walmart – workers pay rent and utilities. If they move out of the dorms, to live in a place not connected to Walmart, they still have to pay rent for the dorms. Workers work in factories with poor ventilation. They are told to lie to inspectors about how many days they work: six, when they really work seven days a week. All of this to make less than $3 a day. -Brave New Films

The documentary investigates and exposes how Walmart stores destroy communities, how little they pay workers, how the company is anti-union, how they change employee time cards to avoid paying overtime, how they get subsidies from the government, how they contribute to environmental issues, how they support low-wage manufacturing in other countries, how much their CEO earns in contrast to the average employee, how much crime occurs in their parking lots, and the filmmakers advice on how to beat them.
